Account Executive - Programs

Location: Westchester, Illinois  

Position: Account Executive - Programs  

Job Purpose: To provide risk management analysis for clients and prospects

Organizational Relationships:  Responsible to Managing Partner

Primary Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate capabilities presentations from all company business groups to clients and prospects.
  2. Prepare applications, surveys and other submission documents on new business and renewals. 
  3. Present proposals to prospects and clients and close new or renewal sales.
  4. Work with the marketing team to place new program business opportunities and renewals to meet the clients’ needs. 
  5. Develop client service plans and stewardship reports.
  6. Maintain personal contacts with clients during the year consistent with service plan requirements. 
  7. Conduct on-going risk management analysis of existing accounts.
  8. Check policy coverage and rating accuracy and relevance on all new business, endorsements, audits and renewals.
  9. Participate in claim reviews and trouble shoot issues with the carriers on behalf of the client.
  10. Structure insurance programs and options for premium financing.
  11. Assist Managing Partner and marketing personnel with the market research and development of new programs and/or self-insurance services. 
  12. Assist in collection of all premiums as described in the company collection policy.

Job Specifications:  (Education, experience, skills, characteristics)

  1. High school diploma, College degree or professional designation preferred
  2. Seven years of experience in the insurance industry. 
  3. High degree of self-discipline and motivation. 
  4. Willing and able to travel and work extended hours. 
  5. In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance coverage. 
  6. Holds or is in the process of obtaining professional designation (CPCU, CIC, AAI, ARM.)
  7. Must possess producer license and appropriate non-resident licenses.
